Stuck Pig

NEW YORK (Reuters) – U.S. stocks accelerated their losses on Friday with the S&P 500 down 3 percent as investors worried the economy's recovery might not be sustainable and shares of financials tumbled.

I guess my overstuffed pig comment was very timely yesterday because today it looks like the poop has definitely left the bacon. Honestly I just cant wrap my mind around the fact that these "financial pros" always act surprised when crap like this happens. Its intuitive to the general public, they are out of work and not spending, duh!

Well this plunge has made a mess of any new setups for Monday so have a nice weekend.

Cha Ching!

Another successful Waveride on REW for a decent profit and I am out! Looks like the piggy got stuck real quick this time. I smell change afoot be careful out there.

Biggest Loser

So here we sit with a better than expected GDP number due to our economy being overstuffed with stimulus programs that are now coming to their conclusion. Everyone rejoice the recession is officially over according to the talking heads. I don't know about you but from my perspective when all those empty calories finally come out of porky here its not going to look or smell pretty.

Tomorrows pick is long REW @ 27.90 Good Luck.

Cha Ching!

And a very nice Waveride on our DUG trade today and we are out for a tidy profit!

Well the slide down the wall of worry continued today unabated by any insider meddling! The dollar is also on a tear, could the new carry trade be finished already? Who knows.

No new setups for tomorrow so I will just go home tonight and count my winnings. See ya.

My favorite train wreck!

Amy Winehouse was up to her old tricks again and is apparently practicing to be Kanye's new date. Check out the link. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1223103/Amy-Winehouse-overshadows-Q-Award-winner-Lily-Allen-revealing-pink-dress.html

Another pullback today wow the PPT must be on vacation or something. Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings. My pick is long DUG @ 12.80 Good Luck!

Swine Flu Cured! Only $29.99

It figures all braintards at the CDC and media talking heads haven't figured this out already. And since I am a guy who is not interested in profiting from this but for benefiting mankind here is the cure free posted on the Internet for all to see (take that GlaxoSmithKlien). Just bring the blood alcohol level up to 70% for one hour and wha-lah ! The only side effect is you sleep like a baby for 12 hours and crave White Castle hamburgers.

Well the week ended sort of boring with a up down up down feel to it (indecision). Every one is still blowing out their stupidly low earnings numbers (can you say limbo) by cutting costs and revenues are down. No new setups for Monday so have a great weekend.

Sick as a Dog

I got the crud this weekend from my kid who spends his day in the communal germ swap mart called school. Don't worry its nothing a single malt scotch cant beat the crap out of (take that all you swine flu nutbags). I'm sure I will be back to my pithy self in a few days.

Meanwhile the market continued its climb today (I read today its up 60% from March (holy bat shit Robin! )). We didn't quite get filled today and if you noticed my pick (DRYS) was the ETF for the container shipping industry. This guy should be rocking with all the crap coming in from overseas for Christmas. Guess what its not (hmmmmbug). Anyway I have to go cough up a lung now and since we have no new picks for tomorrow have a good one.

Busted Piggy Bank

Poor little Nicky appears to be the latest casualty of the recession (cough-bullshit-cough). Apparently his manager has been making bad financial decisions with his money over the last seven years and Nick just noticed this week so he is suing him for $20 million. Is this slow realization the result of too many hair plugs, CGI body sculpting, and physical exhaustion from romping with his very hot ex-maid/new girlfriend. Did mommy not teach you how to watch your pennies when you were just a wee lad. Tis hard for this "ya hey der" guy to shed a tear for you. Just go make another stinky movie and all will be better.

Meanwhile back at the ranch the market recovered enough so old George Costanza didn't have to be quite so embarrassed by the end of the day. Mondays pick is DRYS long @ $7.23 Good Luck

Week long woody ends!

Nothing like B of A losing a cool billion and GE posting a 42% drop in profits to make the markets willy go limp. I have been laughing all week at the sheer stupidity of the media as they cheer the Dow hitting 10K again. Who cares what does Wall Street have to do with main street. All my friends are looking for work and Goldman (ie The Death Star) post quadruple profits. Light the torches dudes its time! If you don't believe me check out this interactive chart the Zero Hedge dudes found on unemployment. It starts out like Bambi and ends like a Sam Peckinpah movie. The sad part is that its reality. http://tipstrategies.com/archive/geography-of-jobs/

There are no new setups today lets just see how much we shrink!

ET Phone Home

MILAN (Reuters) -

Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani presented a new 700-euro ($1,032) mobile phone on Friday, a stylish device aimed at complementing the designer's suits.

This is sooo 2007. Yet another reason to hate the rich. I guess if I'm tooling around in a 1K suit I of course need the phone to match.

We appear to be at somewhat significant resistance now (S&P 1070-80ish) with lots of earning news next week. Lets see if anybody bought anything in the corporate world, that should set the tone for the direction the market takes. Mondays pick is long DRYS @ 7.05 Good Luck.

Just another day in the Matrix

Facts;

Over 70% of our economy is consumer spending (I'm not spending are you?).

Over 500,000 people a week are losing their jobs (Which would be why they are not spending).

Over 2 trillion dollars of commercial real estate loans must be refinanced starting now (Alt A, Option ARM) 70% are expected to default.

The domino effect of those loans will topple thousands of banks (FDIC is bankrupt), insurance companies, 401Ks and pension funds (which are all heavily invested in those loans).

Fantasy

Our leaders and all of the media say we are in a recovery. Where is Neo when you really need him?

Another nose bleed day to new heights and gold is on a tear (watch this some players know the jig is up). No new setups today sorry.

If its my purse you try to nab I will throw your ass on the slab!

(Daily Mail) Two thugs who attacked what they thought were a pair of transvestites picked on the wrong men - when their intended victims turned out to be cage fighters on a night out in fancy dress.
The moon is only 86% full and the loonies are out in full force. Watch the video it is friggin hilarious. She/he decks the retard in one punch and he is never the same again.

Today consolidated nicely it looks like it will punch one way or the other real soon. No new setups Good Luck.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Mel Gibson's criminal record was cleared on Tuesday when a California judge expunged his drunken driving conviction from a 2006 arrest that led to accusations of anti-Semitism over the actor's comments to a policeman.

Sorry I couldn't resist Ive loved this guys stuff since Mad Max.

Tomorrows pick is long TZA @ 12.64 Good Luck.

Back In the saddle

Sorry for being away, life just got in the way for a few days but here I am to dispense my stupidity again. Looks like we fell off a cliff while I was gone and are attempting to scratch our way back up. Here is a link for you to ponder, its the national debt clock. Take a look and see how impossible it will be for us, and our children's children, to repay, let alone fund national health care or the cap and trade baloney. http://www.usdebtclock.org/

On that happy note tomorrows pick is long QID @ 24.56 Good Luck.
