(Reuters) – The U.S. House of Representatives approved on Friday a $2 billion extension of the "Cash-for-Clunkers" automobile sales incentive program. The Democratic proposal would run through September 30, 2010, and tap funds from an Energy Department loan guarantee program included in the economic stimulus package enacted in February.
Lets see if I have this right, the government takes $4000 of my tax money and gives it to someone who buys a new gas pinching gaymobile (ie.Prius) with money they don't have. Goooood Program.
Well our pick got filled on Friday and proceeded to go right into the crapper only to be stopped out at the open this morning for a loss (ouch). Knew that was bound to happen sooner or later.
