Gritting my teeth

Wow this is worse than a prostate exam! Lets see Chrysler is going bankrupt, unemployment hits record highs, and Mexico just closed for a week. The market is up 100 points! Who put acid in my coffee? Still hangin on!

No definitive break of 880ish on the S&P and I'm not letting go. Long SDS! I will look and see if anything else looks good for tomorrow.

Wind in my face

We have reached that point where I have my hand on the rip cord but my gut is telling me to hang in there just a few moments longer and the planes engines will kick back on. There are just too many things still out there that will mow down any "green shoots" that might be sprouting. I am still not bailing on my SDS position until, the S&P breaks 880ish

Its do or die time! The TA nerds say 865 on the S&P is the cliff where we should push bad guys off for a 100 point drop. The PPT is hurling 50cal rounds at our shields to punch thru to the 900s and beyond because you know all those banks that were going bankrupt last week are now profitable. Another day in paradise

I took my SDS profits at the open and will be looking to buy in again if the S&P creeps up to 875ish. The market opened lower on the consumer spending being down. Everyone I know is throwing the non essentials overboard and actually cooking their own meals! The CNBC tards were all pontificating on what a surprise that number was. Are those dopes ever right sheesh! Remember this is the last ride up the fantasy finance fun coaster before we get on the giant drop. Take lots of Dramamine so you don't puke. Good Luck

I put a small position in SDS on about 5 minutes before the close. Let see what it does by tomorrow. I will post any other things that look good when I scan charts tonight.

Sort of a boring consolidation day so far. I did not see anything that I liked in the chart scans so I'm going to just sit tight and see how the day unfolds.

Pushing a rock uphill

My system crashed and my stop did not get executed. A cruel joke from the devil or a gift from God? Now that everything is working again I see that we have been dancing around the 61.8% fib all day. Lets see earnings are crap, feds are printing money from nothing, GM is about to be BK, and we can now makeup accounting results, I think I will hang in here until the close. Good Luck

Another day stuck in a Fellini film

Sorry I didn't post yesterday I ran into a problem with my water pipes at home which kept me busy most of the day building an arc. I bailed early on SDS when it looked like it was going to waffle and spent the rest of the day peeking at my computer screen while passing it with buckets of water that needed dumping outside. I didn't see any good setups today and it looks like everything is going to gap anyway so I will keep you posted if anything looks good midday. An interesting tidbit of news today from Bloomberg. FASB caved to pressure and voted to relax fair-value rules for the banks. This will allow companies "significant" judgment in valuing assets. For those of us who grew up on the south side of Chicago that means they get to make the sh*t up! Poof bankrupt today profitable tomorrow. The market is ecstatic and rallying 160 points. Where do I get one of these gigs??????????
